Leading the charge for Wisconsin were guards Nick Boyd and John Blackwell, who notched a combined total of 43 points. Boyd scored 22, while Blackwell contributed 21, marking the sixth occasion this season that both have exceeded the 20-point threshold in a game.

Supporting the backcourt duo was Austin Rapp, who was instrumental off the bench, scoring all 19 points during the first half.
