Viktor Gyökeres, the forward for Sporting CP, expressed his strong appreciation for former coach Ruben Amorim, stating that the tactical approach he implemented was exceptionally well-suited to his playing style. Under Amorim’s guidance, Gyökeres flourished, especially noted during their successful 2023-24 season, where he netted an impressive 29 goals, making him the top goal scorer of the league in his debut year.
