Vegas Golden Knights Go Green Knight Event
This St. Patrick’s Day, the Vegas Golden Knights will transform T-Mobile Arena into a vibrant celebration with their second annual Go Green Knight event, set to take place on Tuesday, March 17, during their match against the Buffalo Sabres. Sponsored by Zoox, this event integrates hockey with themes of sustainability and Irish culture, promising an exciting experience for fans.
Festive Ambiance and Activities
Participants at the game can expect a festive ambiance that includes complimentary gold and green hair tinsel and shimmering gold face gems, available at Toshiba Plaza before the match. Every ticket holder will also be gifted a foam mini hockey stick from Zoox, while traditional Irish dancers will perform on the concourse to further amplify the joyous pregame festivities.
Special Food and Beverage Options
To enhance the celebratory vibes, LEVY Restaurants will introduce special food and beverage options throughout the arena. Guests can enjoy:
- Green Beer for $12.50
- The zesty “Orange You Lucky” cocktail priced at $23.50
- Jumbo Corned Beef Sausage available for $30.00
A special ticket package dubbed the Hat Tricks & Hops package will allow fans who purchase tickets to enjoy their first green draft beer or soda for free, although supplies of this offer are limited.
Sustainability Initiatives
Beyond the festivities, the Golden Knights will also showcase their dedication to sustainability via the Knight SHIELD Project, found on the concourse near Sections 9 and 10. Launched in 2024, this initiative is centered on six key areas:
- Sustainability
- Healthy Air Quality
- Improve & Inspire
- Energy & Water Efficiency
- Landscape Protection
- Decreased Waste Generation
The program has received accolades as a 2025 GOAL Sustainability Starter, earning five GOAL Medals for various achievements, such as advocating for alternative transportation, community engagement, habitat conservation, and promoting accessible hydration.
Community Engagement
The team also fosters community relationships outside of hockey. On March 28, the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, in collaboration with Garden Farms of Nevada, will host a farmers’ market at Lee’s Family Forum. This market will highlight produce cultivated by 17 local schools as part of their sustainability initiatives, emphasizing the significance of community gardening and providing fresh food access to underserved populations.
Unique Memorabilia and Merchandise
Fans hoping to take home a unique piece of memorabilia can participate in an online auction for special St. Patrick’s Day jerseys signed by players, which will start at 5:45 p.m. PT on March 17 and end at 9 p.m. PT that same evening. Attendees can view the jerseys in person at Sections 11 and 12 of the concourse, with a portion of the auction proceeds contributing to the farmers’ market and Garden Farms efforts.
Merchandise commemorating the event will also be available at The Arsenal at City National Arena and The Armory at T-Mobile Arena, offering fans a variety of items including hoodies, hats, t-shirts, pucks, decals, and drinkware.
