On Saturday, August 23, San Antonio will host an electrifying boxing event called the “Summer Showdown” at the Boeing Center at Tech Port, featuring a lineup packed with local talent.

Headlining the event is the undefeated Justin Figueroa, who boasts a record of 12 wins, 0 losses, and 10 knockouts. He will compete in an eight-round bout for the Junior NABF super welterweight title against Jarrod Tennant, who has a record of 9 wins, 5 losses, and 4 KOs. Figueroa, originally from Atlantic City, is gaining recognition in both New Jersey and Texas, while Tennant has shown commendable toughness against up-and-coming competitors.
