PROVO, Utah (AP) — In a stunning upset, the UCF Knights overwhelmed the 19th-ranked BYU Cougars with a final score of 97-84, showcasing their prowess on the court this past Tuesday night. The standout performers for UCF included Themus Fulks and Jordan Burks, each contributing 24 points. Additionally, Fulks recorded 11 assists while Jamichael Stillwell enhanced the team’s performance with a double-double, tallying 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Exceptional Shooting Performance
UCF demonstrated exceptional shooting accuracy, particularly from beyond the arc, finishing with 14 successful 3-point attempts out of 24, achieving an impressive 58% success rate on those shots, and an overall field goal percentage of 56%. For BYU, AJ Dybantsa was the leading scorer with 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
