USA Boxing Announces Team for World Boxing Championships
In a significant announcement, USA Boxing has proclaimed its team for the highly anticipated World Boxing Championships set to take place in Liverpool, England, from September 4 to 14, 2025. Marking the inaugural event of its kind, Team USA will feature a total of fourteen skilled boxers, divided equally between male and female athletes, who will proudly represent their nation at the M&S Bank Arena.
Preparation and Training Camp
Preparation for this championship will kick off on August 16, when the American squad, under the guidance of head coach Billy Walsh, travels to Sheffield for a two-week multinational training camp alongside other top boxing nations, including Great Britain. This camp aims to refine their skills in anticipation of the upcoming competition.
