In a tense showdown in Seattle, the Torrent triumphed over the Fleet with a final score of 3-2, bringing an end to their four-game downturn. Mikyla Grant-Mentis and Danielle Serdachny delivered the decisive blows in the closing minutes of the third period, with Alex Carpenter also contributing a goal to the victory.

After suffering consecutive defeats post-Olympic break, the Torrent, now holding a record of 5-1-2-9, found themselves at the bottom of the PWHL leaderboard with only 16 points. Conversely, the Fleet, who previously enjoyed a six-game winning streak, remain atop the league with a powerful 37 points and a record of 9-4-2-3.

In the first period, Alina Müller facilitated the Fleet’s lead by passing to Daniela Pejsova, whose shot from the blue line was redirected by Theresa Schafzahl, giving Boston the initial advantage.
