In a Sunday matchup at Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers secured a 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers, thanks in large part to rookie Adam Sykora, who delivered a pivotal goal early in the third period.

Sykora, selected in the second round of the 2022 NHL Draft, broke the scoreless deadlock just 5:10 into the final frame, deftly redirecting a shot from teammate Adam Fox past Florida’s goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.
