The Longhorns, now with a record of 12-8 overall and 3-4 in the Southeastern Conference, found themselves trailing by seven points at the halftime break. However, they displayed remarkable resilience in the second half, outscoring Georgia 57-30 while shooting an impressive 69% from the field.

Dailyn Swain was a standout player for Texas, contributing a total of 26 points and showcasing exceptional shooting skills as he converted 12 out of 16 attempts. His teammate Tramon Mark also excelled, delivering a season-high 23 points, including a notable burst of 10 consecutive points that featured two rapid-fire 3-pointers.
