In a recent interview on the Spanish YouTube channel xBuyer, Rashford was asked about the prospect of playing with the 17-year-old Yamal. He responded eagerly, saying, “Yeah, for sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. Hopefully … We’ll see.”
Yamal has rapidly established himself as a remarkable talent in football, contributing significantly to Spain’s victory at Euro 2024 and playing a key role in Barcelona’s success in LaLiga last season.

Rashford praised Yamal’s performances, noting, “It is difficult to put into words what he is doing. He is not supposed to be doing that at 16, 17 [years of age].”
