With only 1:50 remaining in the game, Cole Reinhardt netted his second goal, ultimately sealing the win and denying Quick a fairytale finish in his final NHL appearance.
Quick, a legendary figure in hockey known for his three Stanley Cup victories, had announced his retirement prior to the game, capping off 19 remarkable seasons, including two championships with the Los Angeles Kings and a recent win with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023.
