Brown was instrumental during this stretch, scoring five of those points including a crucial three-pointer, while Pack added another three to boost their lead to a commanding 69-52 with only 8:30 left on the clock.

Prior to this pivotal run, LSU opened the game by scoring the first five points, but Oklahoma quickly retaliated, asserting control and never trailing from that point on. At halftime, the Sooners led by a margin of 41-33.

Recent Performance and Future Matches

This victory for Oklahoma marks their fourth win in six games following a streak of nine consecutive losses, while the Tigers have now dropped six out of their last seven outings. The last encounter between these two teams in Baton Rouge dates back to January 30, 2016, when a then-No. 1 ranked Oklahoma team, featuring Buddy Hield, narrowly defeated a squad with Ben Simmons, 77-75, during the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

Looking ahead, the Sooners will host Missouri on Tuesday, while LSU prepares for an away game against Auburn on the same day.
