Return of the OHSAA State Tennis Tournaments

The Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, will once again host the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state tennis tournaments, marking the event’s return for the first time since 2022. The venue, which was home to the tournaments from 2014 to 2022, went through a significant renovation, leading to the temporary relocation of the events to the College of Wooster for the past two years. The OHSAA has signed a three-year agreement to bring the tournaments back to the newly revamped facility.

Facility Upgrades

This transformation of the Lindner Family Tennis Center comes with a hefty price tag of $260 million, which has resulted in major upgrades, including an increase in outdoor courts to 31 and the addition of a six-court indoor facility. Fans of racquet sports will also find new pickleball and padel courts, along with newly designed locker rooms and a clubhouse featuring a restaurant and event spaces.

He also took a moment to appreciate the College of Wooster for hosting the state tournaments during the construction period, ensuring a successful experience for participants.
