Commissioner Jessica Berman’s Commitment to NWSL
In a press briefing at the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) headquarters in New York, Commissioner Jessica Berman stated her intention to remain in her role despite her contract set to expire in a few months.
Berman, who took on the commissioner position in early 2022 under a four-year agreement, emphasized her commitment to the growth of professional women’s sports and soccer, although she provided no definitive details regarding the renewal of her contract.
“What I can say is that I intend to be here,” she remarked to the media.
