NBA All-Star Voting Update: Dončić and Antetokounmpo Remain Fan Favorites

NBA All-Star Game Voting Update

Luka Dončić and Giannis Antetokounmpo continue to dominate the fan voting for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA All-Star Game, remaining the standout leaders in the second round of voting results released on January 6, 2026. With Dončić representing the Los Angeles Lakers and Antetokounmpo under the Milwaukee Bucks banner, both players have maintained their positions as the top vote recipients since the initial fan voting results were reported on December 29, 2025.

As it stands, Dončić has secured 2,229,811 votes, while Antetokounmpo follows closely with 2,092,284 votes to his credit. The voting system is structured such that fan participation accounts for 50% of the total vote, with the remaining 50% divided between NBA players and a media panel, each contributing 25%.

Voting Period and All-Star Game Details

The final voting period will close on January 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Notably, fans will enjoy special “3-for-1 Days” on January 14 and the preceding Wednesday, where each vote will count triple. The All-Star Game starters will be unveiled on NBC and Peacock on January 19, while the actual event is scheduled to take place on February 15 at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers. This year, the NBA will introduce an innovative format featuring a USA versus World round-robin tournament.

Player Performance Highlights

Currently, Dončić leads the league with an impressive average of 33.7 points per game, which includes six games where he scored 40 points or more. Despite being in his first complete season with the Lakers following a surprising trade, he’s made a significant impact. Antetokounmpo, although his team struggles at a record of 16-20, continues to shine with averages of 29.3 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game over 22 games, despite facing a calf injury earlier in the season.
