The Tigers, now with a record of 15 wins and 7 losses, and 5 wins against 4 losses in the Southeastern Conference, started strong with a commanding 12-2 scoring run to take an early lead. By halftime, they were ahead 42-35.

Bulldogs’ Late Push Falls Short

Despite a determined effort from the Bulldogs, who fought back with a late 6-0 scoring stretch that brought them within three points at 74-71 with less than two minutes remaining, they ultimately fell short. Missouri’s victory was significantly aided by their ability to capitalize on defensive opportunities, converting a total of 14 turnovers from Mississippi State into 21 critical points.
