In an emotional announcement, Lucas Vázquez is bidding farewell to Real Madrid, a club he has been with since joining their youth ranks in 2007 at just 16 years old. The departure was confirmed on Wednesday, with the talented player expressing his deep appreciation for his time at the club in a heartfelt social media tribute.
“Although I’m leaving Real Madrid, the club will always remain part of me. Wherever life takes me, I will proudly declare that I played for the best team in the world. Thank you for this incredible journey,” Vázquez shared.

With an impressive record, Vázquez has been central to Real Madrid’s success, contributing to a total of 23 trophies during his tenure, which includes five UEFA Champions League titles and four La Liga championships. Overall, he made 402 appearances, showcasing his versatility by performing as a right-back, a forward, and an attacking midfielder.

After a year on loan at Espanyol, Vázquez debuted for the first team in 2015 and has since become a fan favorite.
