Liverpool FC Launches New Kits for 2025-26 Season
Liverpool FC, the reigning Premier League champions, recently launched two of their new kits for the 2025-26 season in a spectacular event at Anfield, as they embark on a fresh ten-year partnership with Adidas. This marks the third collaboration with the German sports giant, having previously teamed up from 1985 until 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012, during which the club secured multiple prestigious titles, including three First Division championships and both the FA and League Cups.
Home Kit Design
The newly unveiled home kit embraces a classic aesthetic, moving away from last year’s geometric pinstripe design. The fresh iteration is predominantly red, accented solely with white trim for a minimalist look. The white piping around the torso is reminiscent of the design seen in the kits from the 2014-15 season by a different manufacturer, but it also echoes the popular Adidas shirts from 2006-08.
Away Kit Features
While the away kit takes on a more understated approach, featuring a clean white color with red and black accents, it still showcases thoughtful details. Notably, the reimagined Liver Bird crest pays homage to the original eyebrow-shaped roof design of Anfield’s Main Stand as it appeared in the 1900s.
Tributes and Personalization
Both kits prominently feature the ’97’ Hillsborough flame emblem, honoring the club’s legacy while also including a special tribute to the late Diogo Jota. Supporters have the opportunity to personalize their replicas with a small decal of Jota’s iconic No. 20, with proceeds from these sales directed to the LFC Foundation to support grassroots football initiatives in his honor.
Upcoming Debuts
Fans can expect to see the men’s team donning these new kits for the first time in early August, starting with the home kit at Anfield in a friendly against Athletic Club, followed by the away kit’s debut at Wembley against Crystal Palace during the Community Shield.
