They are motivated by the possibility of losing current forwards, including Darwin Núñez, Diogo Jota, and Federico Chiesa, during the summer transfer window.
On the other hand, Chelsea has yet to finalize any negotiations with Frankfurt for the 22-year-old forward and has not submitted a formal offer, even though a move to Stamford Bridge is still seen as feasible. However, the direction of Chelsea’s pursuit remains uncertain in the upcoming weeks.
