Liverpool Football Club has finalized the acquisition of Hungarian defender Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth for a fee estimated at £40 million, or approximately $54 million. The 21-year-old player arrived in the UK on Monday to undergo a medical assessment before officially signing a five-year contract with the reigning Premier League champions.

Kerkez marks the fourth addition to Liverpool’s squad this summer, joining fellow new signings Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, as well as goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Puskas Akademia.
