Liverpool Defender Jarell Quansah Transfers to Bayer Leverkusen
Liverpool Football Club has announced that defender Jarell Quansah has made a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen. The transfer involves an upfront fee of £30 million, with the possibility of an additional £5 million through easily attainable add-ons.
Quansah’s Journey at Liverpool
Quansah, who became a part of Liverpool’s youth system at just five years old, made his first team debut against Newcastle United in August 2023. His initial season with Liverpool, under the management of Jürgen Klopp, was promising, as he amassed 33 appearances across various competitions during the 2023-24 season.
Despite his early success and being a vital player in England’s under-21 European Championship winning squad this summer, Quansah faced challenges last season, only managing four starts in the Premier League while under the guidance of Arne Slot.
