Brandon Hagel emerged as the standout player, netting both the fifth and sixth goals of the playoffs, setting a record for the most playoff goals this season. His key contributions came in the third period, where he scored to clinch the lead with just 4:43 remaining. Hagel redirected a shot from teammate Nikita Kucherov, slipping the puck past goalie Jakub Dobes.

Impressive Comeback

In a critical moment towards the end of the second period, Guentzel reduced the deficit to just one goal with a swift shot from the left side, capitalizing on an assist from defenseman J.J. Moser, just 54 seconds before the break. The Lightning had gained a power play opportunity when Oliver Kapanen was penalized for high-sticking against Dominic James.
