The Panthers’ forward netted two crucial goals in the final 90 seconds of the game, turning the tide for his team.

With Panther netminder Daniil Tarasov pulled for an extra attacker, Verhaeghe struck first with just 1:30 left on the clock, finding the back of the net to level the score at 3-3. In a rapid sequence, he then delivered the decisive blow only 15 seconds before the final whistle, redirecting a pass from teammate Matthew Tkachuk.
