Kyle Kreps Resigns from Holland High School Tennis Coaching

Kyle Kreps, who has dedicated over a decade to coaching the boys’ and girls’ tennis teams at Holland High School, has officially resigned from his position. Kreps, a former athlete who excelled in both tennis and swimming during his own time at the school, has coached at his alma mater for 11 years.

In a heartfelt letter to his team, he expressed that the decision to step away was a challenging one but felt it was the right moment to transition as he embarks on a new opportunity within Holland Public Schools (HPS).

New Role as Assistant Principal

In his new role, Kreps will serve as the assistant principal at Holland Middle School. Throughout his coaching career, he has been recognized multiple times as the Regional Coach of the Year, leading his teams to various appearances in state tournaments.

“This has been a dream come true, and the experiences I’ve had with my players will stay with me forever,” Kreps remarked.

Kreps particularly highlighted the significance of the relationships he built with his athletes, focusing on the shared commitment to personal and athletic development. He stressed that fostering both tennis skills and personal growth among the players was paramount to his coaching philosophy.
