Kishan reached his half-century in 28 balls, and astonishingly brought up his century in just 42 deliveries, setting a new record for the fastest ton against New Zealand and the fifth fastest overall for India.
After Yadav’s dismissal in the 15th over, Kishan and Pandya continued the onslaught, adding another 48 runs in 18 balls, pushing India’s score past 250. The match concluded with the aggregate total of 496 runs, which stands as the second-highest in T20 history, underlining the aggressive batting display from both sides.
