In a dominant performance, the No. 18 ranked Kentucky Wildcats triumphed over Arkansas with a score of 93-73 on Sunday, effectively ending their three-game losing streak. Clara Strack played a pivotal role, tallying 33 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, while her teammate Teonni Key contributed a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The game began closely, with Kentucky holding a mere six-point advantage at the halftime break, leading 34-28. The Wildcats started the third quarter strong, managing to extend their lead to 60-49 heading into the final period. A significant turning point occurred early in the fourth quarter when Kentucky took control, pushing ahead to a 66-53 lead. They then unleashed a powerful 13-0 scoring run within just two and a half minutes, widening their margin to 79-53 and maintaining a commanding lead of 19 points for the remainder of the game.
Although Strack didn’t register any blocked shots this game, she remains a formidable presence in the paint, currently ranked second in the nation with 63 blocks and just ten shy of equaling her own school’s single-season record. The Wildcats also saw contributions from Amelia Hassett, who added 16 points, Tonie Morgan with 14, and Asia Boone who chipped in with 11 from the bench.
Arkansas Struggles
On the opposite side, Arkansas struggled throughout the match despite Emily Robinson leading them with 20 points. Taleyah Jones and Bonnie Deas added 19 and 18 points, respectively, while the rest of their team collectively scored 16 points. With this defeat, Arkansas remains winless in conference play at 0-8 and holds an overall record of 11-11.
