Currently representing the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Young has delivered an impressive performance, boasting averages of 26.6 points and 9.7 assists per game, ranking him second and third, respectively, in the G League. He also contributes around six rebounds and 2.3 steals each outing, showcasing his all-around skills.

Contract Upgrade and NBA Opportunities

In recognition of his outstanding play, the Miami Heat upgraded Young’s earlier contract to a two-way agreement, which permits him to play occasionally in the NBA. Since joining the Heat, he has clocked 34 minutes across seven games, including notable appearances earlier this month, where he accumulated 14 points, six assists, and three rebounds.

Career Journey

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bulls in 2024, Young faced a setback when he was waived in July. However, the Heat quickly took him on a month later, providing him with another shot at the professional level.
