Ivey, who fractured his left fibula on January 1st, managed to contribute 10 points—along with two assists and a steal—in 15 minutes as the Pistons triumphed over the Milwaukee Bucks, 129-116. This victory marks the team’s 12th consecutive win, equalling the franchise’s third-longest winning streak.

Reflecting on his time away from the game, Ivey expressed his mixed emotions about returning.
“I just cherished the moment to be back out there tonight. It took a while to get used to warming up and going through the normal routine again, but I felt so much gratitude being back,”

Ivey made a brief preseason appearance before facing complications with his right knee that required surgery on October 16th. His teammate, Cade Cunningham, noted Ivey’s comfortable presence on the court, emphasizing that it felt as if he had never left. Cunningham, who had a stellar game himself with 29 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds, highlighted how pivotal it was for the Pistons to finally break a 13-game losing streak against their rivals from Milwaukee.
