Audi Crooks was the standout performer, tallying an impressive 33 points and securing 12 rebounds, while her teammate Jada Williams contributed significantly with 15 points and nine assists.

The Cyclones opened the game with a strong start, scoring the first six points and maintaining the lead throughout. At one point, they surged ahead to a 33-20 advantage following a three-pointer from Reagan Wilson early in the second quarter. However, their momentum slowed down, allowing Texas Tech to narrow the gap to 40-38 by halftime after Iowa State managed only one score in its last seven attempts of the half.
In the third quarter, Sydney Harris propelled Iowa State with her late-game performance, scoring the last five points of that period, including a three-pointer that halted Texas Tech’s 9-2 run. Harris’s resilience under the basket also contributed to extending the Cyclones’ lead to 65-55 by the end of the third.
As the final quarter began, Crooks quickly added four more points to her tally, helping Iowa State launch a decisive 10-0 run to stretch their lead to 79-58. Crooks displayed remarkable shooting, making 13 of her 19 field goal attempts and converting all seven of her free throws, while also becoming only the fourth Cyclone to achieve 2,000 career points. Harris rounded out her performance with a total of 13 points and 12 rebounds.

For Texas Tech, Sidney Love emerged as the top scorer with 17 points, followed by Bailey Maupin and Snudda Collins, who each contributed 16 points.
