The IBA has stated that her DNA revealed XY chromosomes, a statement that Khelif has vehemently opposed alongside the IOC, labeling it arbitrary and lacking in fairness.
Fortunately, a year later, Khelif received a significant boost when the IOC permitted her to compete in the upcoming Paris Olympics, vindicating her by asserting she had met all necessary eligibility criteria and declaring the prior disqualification unjust.
