LONDON (AP) — Igor Thiago marked his first selection for Brazil’s national team by finding the back of the net during a suspenseful 2-2 draw between Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Monday. The 19-year-old striker scored his league goal just before the first half concluded, tapping into an unguarded net to secure his 19th goal of the season.

Thiago, who previously played for Cruzeiro, Ludogorets, and Brugge, is one of nine forwards called up in a 26-player roster, which includes notable talents like Endrick from Lyon and Rayan from Bournemouth, but conspicuously excludes Neymar, who has been struggling to shine at Santos recently.
