In a thrilling matchup on Wednesday evening, the Charlotte Hornets claimed victory over the Sacramento Kings with a score of 117-109, marking their first win in Sacramento in over two years.
Standout Performances
LaMelo Ball was the standout player, contributing significantly to the win with a total of 30 points, 20 of which came in a dominant first half. His performance included shooting 10 of 22 from the field and hitting six three-pointers, alongside six rebounds and five assists.

Despite Charlotte’s early struggles, which included committing eight turnovers and trailing 62-57 at halftime, they shifted gears in the third quarter, notably taking the lead with an alley-oop from Bridges to Miller. A crucial three-point play by White in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter extended Charlotte’s lead to 99-88.
Though the Kings managed to narrow the gap to 108-100 with three minutes left in the game, a floater by Bridges and a pair of free throws from Ball sealed the Hornets’ victory.
