Victor Hernandez, nicknamed “Jalapeño,” showcased his boxing prowess in Nashville by decisively defeating Jayvon Garnett, known as “Jigsaw,” in the tenth round, thereby securing both the NABA and Junior NABF featherweight titles. This bout was the main event of Christy Martin Promotions’ event, “Mayhem in Music City 2,” held at the Fairgrounds Arena. Hernandez maintained a dominant performance throughout the fight, applying constant pressure until referee Duane Edwards intervened at 2:23 of the final round, as Garnett fell to the canvas.
