The NBA has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing the game I love with fans across the country. To be part of NBC’s return to the NBA—a network with such a rich basketball legacy—and its debut on Peacock is truly an honor. I can’t wait to get started this fall.”
New NBA Broadcasting Agreement
This appointment comes as NBCUniversal has secured an 11-year deal with the NBA to broadcast both NBA and WNBA games beginning in the 2025-26 season, marking the return of the league to NBC after a prolonged absence. NBC Sports will also initiate a new Sunday Night Basketball program in 2026, aiming to deliver three consecutive nights of national basketball coverage on its platforms.

He was a seven-time NBA All-Star and a five-time All-NBA selection, in addition to sharing the NBA Co-Rookie of the Year title in 1995 and winning gold with Team USA in the 1996 Olympics.
Beyond Basketball
Beyond his broadcasting role, Hill is currently the managing director of USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team, where he succeeded Jerry Colangelo and played a role in leading the team to a gold medal in the upcoming Paris Olympics in 2024. His business ventures include part ownership of the Atlanta Hawks, MLS’ Orlando City SC, NWSL’s Orlando Pride, and being part of the ownership group for the Baltimore Orioles.
