Georgia Lady Bulldogs Triumph Over Auburn
In a commanding performance on Monday night, the No. 23 Georgia Lady Bulldogs triumphed over Auburn with a resounding 74-52 victory, marking an important win in the Southeastern Conference.

Dani Carnegie was a standout player for Georgia, contributing 17 points to the scoreboard, while teammates Rylie Theuerkauf and Mia Woolfolk each added 16 points. Carnegie’s offensive effort also included four rebounds and four steals, showcasing her all-around game.

However, Georgia’s momentum shifted dramatically when Miyah Verse’s steal led to Carnegie’s three-pointer, igniting a formidable 10-0 run that capped the first quarter with a 13-9 lead for the Lady Bulldogs.
Woolfolk continued to push the advantage by scoring consecutively at the start of the second period, allowing Georgia to extend their lead to 21-9.
Although Duhon managed to break an 18-point scoring drought for Auburn with a jumper, the Tigers struggled to keep pace. Harris did manage to hit a buzzer-beater to end the first half with Auburn down 30-23.
Despite Leye’s strong start to the third quarter, securing an offensive rebound for a quick basket, Auburn could not narrow the gap further. As the game progressed, Georgia established a lead of 48-38 heading into the fourth quarter and initiated another scoring spurt with an 8-0 run, ultimately ensuring their victory.

Looking ahead, Georgia is scheduled to take on No. 4 Texas this Thursday before facing Florida in their regular-season finale on Sunday. Meanwhile, Auburn will face No. 16 Kentucky at home before concluding the regular season against Arkansas on Sunday.
