In a thrilling clash in Tallahassee on Tuesday night, Florida State University overcame a daunting deficit to secure an 80-72 victory over Boston College. Robert McCray V was instrumental in the comeback, contributing a total of 27 points, with 18 of those coming in a pivotal second half.

The Seminoles found themselves trailing significantly, down by as many as 14 points, with Boston College leading 59-45 just 11 minutes before the final buzzer. However, Florida State demonstrated resilient determination, making 11 of their last 14 shot attempts effectively narrowing the gap.

A notable moment came with just over two minutes remaining when Lajae Jones seized an offensive rebound and converted, allowing Florida State to take the lead for the first time since the early stages of the game, 70-68.

Following that, Chauncey Wiggins hit a crucial 3-pointer, and McCray sealed the deal with a driving layup, extending their lead to 75-70 with only 50 seconds left on the clock.
