The USA TODAY Sports men’s college basketball rankings for February have been revealed, maintaining the same top four positions as seen at the close of January. Arizona holds firm at the pinnacle, securing all 31 available first-place votes. Following closely in second place is Michigan, which solidified its status with two convincing victories in the Big Ten this past week. Connecticut and Duke continue to occupy the third and fourth spots, respectively.
Notable Rankings Changes
Moving into the fifth position is Gonzaga, while Illinois has made a significant leap, climbing four spots to reach sixth after a notable victory against Nebraska on Sunday. Iowa State narrowly claims the seventh position in the poll, edging out fellow Big 12 rival Houston by a mere two points. Meanwhile, both Nebraska and Michigan State have slipped down several ranks but remain within the top 10.

As we look further down the list, the Big 12 makes a strong showing with Kansas rising to the 11th spot, overtaking Purdue, which is now ranked 12th. Following them are Texas Tech and Brigham Young in 13th and 14th places respectively. Vanderbilt leads the Southeastern Conference at No. 15.
