Everton FC is reportedly engaged in significant discussions to bring Nick Cox, the director of the Manchester United academy, on board as their new technical director. Since 2019, Cox has spearheaded United’s academy, where he has been instrumental in promoting players such as Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Amass, and Tony Collyer to the senior squad. Securing Cox’s talent would be viewed as a strategic gain for Everton.

Before his time at United, he worked with Watford’s academy and had a significant involvement in developing young talent during his tenure at Sheffield United.
