Known as “Yung Holy,” the son of the legendary two-weight world champion Evander Holyfield will compete in Christy Martin Promotions’ event titled “Mayhem in Music City 2.” Holyfield, boasting a record of 12 victories with 8 knockouts, will face off against Jeremiah Robinson, an experienced heavyweight from St. Louis, who holds a record of 8 wins, 5 losses, all of his wins coming by knockout. This matchup is significant as it marks Holyfield’s first fight in over two years, especially following his emergency open-heart surgery performed in 2023 due to a serious congenital condition.

Holyfield expressed confidence in his health and performance, stating,
“I believe I now have a perfect heart, and I think my passion for boxing, which started when I was 12, will drive me to triumph. Fans attending my fight should expect me to bring chaos to my opponent.”
His heart condition, a rare defect affecting approximately one percent of the population, posed serious health risks and necessitated urgent surgical intervention.
Under the guidance of his trainer, Atlanta-based “Sugar” Bert Wells, Holyfield has been preparing diligently for this comeback fight. Managing Holyfield is Mike Joyce, a Chicago-based boxing attorney and son-in-law of the legendary Muhammad Ali, who recognizes the fighting spirit and lineage that Evan possesses. Joyce remarked,
