NHL 26 Player Ratings Unveiled
In anticipation of the highly awaited release of NHL 26, EA Sports has unveiled initial player ratings, highlighting the most formidable defensemen in the league.
Top Defensemen Ratings
Quinn Hughes from the Vancouver Canucks has achieved the highest score among defenders, officially rated at 95 overall (OVR). His exceptional speed and agility set him apart, not only making him the top-rated defenseman but also placing him within the top five players across all positions in the game.
Close on his heels is Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche, who shares the same 95 OVR rating. However, Makar falls just short in his speed and passing stats, relegating him to the sixth spot overall on the leaderboard.
The race among defenders remains competitive with Zach Werenski and Roman Josi, both showing strong performances as well with an impressive 92 OVR, helping them break into the overall top 20. Victor Hedman and Rasmus Dahlin join the mix, also registering 92 OVR ratings.
