In a recent preseason clash, Indiana Pacers guard Delon Wright exited early following a concerning head injury sustained during a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Incident Details
The incident occurred during the second quarter at the Target Center when Wright was attempting to maneuver the ball near midcourt. Unbeknownst to him, Timberwolves forward Jaylen Clark was rapidly approaching from behind in an attempt to intercept the ball.
As Wright turned his head, he collided directly with Clark’s head, resulting in Wright tumbling to the floor with significant force while Clark remained upright.
