Sebastian, who was only 29 at the time, tragically drowned while living in Dubai, a news that shattered the Eubank family.

Locked away in solitude while battling Covid-19, he recounts the moment his father entered his room with tears in his eyes, delivering the unfathomable news:
“Your brother drowned.”
Initially, Eubank Jr. struggled to grasp the gravity of the situation. He thought it might be an elaborate prank until the reality hit him, triggered by witnessing his father and brother’s shared sorrow.
“Within a minute, it became overwhelmingly real, and I completely broke down for two days straight,”
he reflected.

As the family made arrangements for Sebastian’s burial, Eubank Jr. recalled the tumult of emotions that engulfed him—grief intermingled with anger and confusion. He wondered why such a tragic incident could occur. Yet, amidst this agony, a moment of unexpected solace arrived when Sebastian’s widow placed their child, Rahim, in his arms.
“For a moment, it felt like I had my brother back with me, because this little boy looks just like him. All the pain and despair began to dissolve,”

“My brother’s gone, but he’s also here now. And we are going to raise him.”
