Current Situation
He has not played for manager Ruben Amorim’s squad since the last season concluded and was left out of the preseason tour to the United States, training instead alongside other sidelined players including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, and Antony.
While Rashford recently completed a loan move to Barcelona, United has struggled to move other players who have fallen out of favor, including Garnacho. Earlier this month, he turned down a potential switch to Bayern Munich, stating his preference to join Chelsea.
Negotiation Details
The Blues had shown interest in acquiring the talented winger previously in January, but a deal could not be finalized. Initially, Chelsea’s valuation was around £30 million (approximately $40 million), while United sought £50 million (around $67 million) for the player.
