Caroline Dubois joins Jake Paul’s MVP as she prepares for fight on Joshua undercard

Jake Paul Signs Caroline Dubois to Most Valuable Promotions

Jake Paul has revealed that British boxer Caroline Dubois has officially joined his promotional firm, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), after completing her contract with Boxxer. This development was made public on Tuesday, as Dubois, who remains unbeaten in her boxing career, is set to make her debut with MVP on December 19. She will be featured on the undercard of Paul’s highly anticipated match against Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami, where she will defend her WBC women’s lightweight championship against Camilla Panatta.

Significant Shift for Dubois

This signing signals a significant shift for Dubois after her association with Boxxer, a company that has recently transitioned its broadcasting to BBC following its departure from Sky Sports. Despite the mixed reactions surrounding Paul’s own boxing journey—evidenced by a 12-1 professional record—his efforts in advocating for women’s boxing have garnered positive attention. MVP’s roster includes several prominent figures in the sport, including Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner, and Savannah Marshall, all of whom exemplify the rising status of female athletes in boxing.

Dubois Expresses Enthusiasm

Expressing her enthusiasm about joining MVP, the 24-year-old Dubois stated,

“Signing with MVP represents the next evolution in my career. I am genuinely proud to be part of their roster and believe they will guide me toward my goal of becoming a leading figure in women’s boxing.”

Connection to Anthony Joshua

In an interesting twist, Paul underscored Dubois’s familial connection to his opponent, Joshua. In September 2024, Dubois’s brother, Daniel, made headlines by defeating Joshua in a dramatic match at Wembley, knocking him down four times. Paul took to Twitter, declaring,

“I just want fairness in this fight. To balance the scales, Joshua had Usyk in his camp, so it was only appropriate to bring in Dubois. It had to be done.”

He even shared a clip teasing an initial outreach to Daniel before deciding to sign Caroline.

Upcoming Bout and Paul’s Preparations

Paul’s bout with Joshua marks a significant return for the former two-time world heavyweight champion, who has not competed since suffering a defeat at the hands of Daniel Dubois. Meanwhile, Paul, aged 28, is preparing for an eight-round heavyweight clash, with knockouts permitted and both fighters wearing 10oz gloves. The American last fought in June against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., securing a points victory. In a headline-grabbing match in November 2024, he faced off against boxing icon Mike Tyson, also winning by points in a contentious contest that reached an audience of approximately 60 million homes via Netflix.
