Carlos Alcaraz, currently the world’s top-ranked player, has chosen to sit out the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifiers but appears committed to participating in the Davis Cup Finals later this year. The 22-year-old shared his future plans during a conversation with renowned NBA player Pau Gasol at the Laver Cup, expressing his eagerness to play in both the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup Finals as he looks to finish the season strong.
“I want to be in top form for the ATP Finals and then the Davis Cup,” Alcaraz stated, indicating his drive to contribute positively to Spain’s chances in the tournament.
