Leading the pack is Michael Hage, who has secured the 11th position. His impressive performance during his sophomore year at the University of Michigan, where he netted 13 goals and accumulated 52 points over 39 games, underscores his potential to significantly contribute to the Canadiens’ offense.
Following closely is Alexander Zharovsky, earning the 17th spot on Wheeler’s list. The 19-year-old winger has made a strong impression during his debut season in the KHL with Salavat Yulayev Ufa, registering 16 goals and 42 points through 59 games, which highlights his promising future.
In the 35th position, David Reinbacher, the fifth-overall pick in the 2023 draft, continues to develop his skills. He recently made his NHL debut for Montreal by recording an assist and has shown versatility while playing for the Laval Rocket in the AHL, tallying five goals and 24 points across 57 games, indicating his potential on the Canadiens’ blue line.
Lastly, Bryce Pickford rounds out the Canadiens’ representation in the rankings at the 98th spot.
