Burnley Introduces Virtual Reality Viewing for Fans
Burnley, recently elevated to the Premier League, is set to enhance the fan experience by introducing a virtual reality (VR) viewing option. This innovative venture allows supporters to engage with the game’s atmosphere from the comfort of their own homes, particularly during the club’s friendly match against Lazio, an Italian Serie A team, on August 9.
Collaboration with Rezzil
In collaboration with VR specialists Rezzil, Burnley aims to deliver an unparalleled broadcast experience that transports fans into Turf Moor’s stadium environment, complete with realistic match commentary and local stadium sounds.

Alan Pace, the chairman of Burnley, emphasized the club’s commitment to its global fanbase by stating, “This initiative embodies our progressive strategy in fan engagement. Our goal is to offer top-notch experiences, and by venturing into the realm of Virtual Reality, we’re enabling a closer connection to the game than ever before.”
