Adam Azim Extends Agreement with Boxxer
British boxing prodigy Adam Azim has officially extended his agreement with the promotional company Boxxer, marking a significant step in his career. At just 23 years old, Azim remains undefeated in 13 professional bouts and is touted by Boxxer’s Ben Shalom as a “generational talent,” suggesting he has the potential to become a future champion.
Azim’s Ambitions and Recent Achievements
Azim expressed his enthusiasm for the journey ahead, stating,
“I know I have the right team around me to take me to the top. I’m excited for this next chapter and I aim to challenge for world titles and face the best in the sport within the next year.”
The recent partnership between Boxxer and the BBC to broadcast several events comes on the heels of their previous arrangement with Sky Sports, which has led some fighters, including heavyweight Joshua Buatsi, to explore new promotional avenues. Buatsi recently signed with Frank Warren’s Queensberry.
Building a Legacy
Azim, hailing from Slough, has not only clinched the European and IBO light-welterweight titles but has also showcased his power with 10 stoppages in his career thus far. His most notable victory came against veteran Sergey Lipinets earlier this year in February. As Azim continues to build his legacy, the boxing community will undoubtedly keep a close watch on his trajectory towards potential world title opportunities.
