AC Milan’s Allegri Confirms Pulisic’s Recovery Ahead of Upcoming Match against Parma

AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic Set for Comeback

In a press briefing on Friday, Massimiliano Allegri, head coach of AC Milan, announced that forward Christian Pulisic is set to make his long-awaited comeback from a hamstring injury during the club’s upcoming match against Parma this Saturday. Pulisic, who previously sustained a low-grade tear in his right hamstring during a friendly match where the U.S. national team triumphed 2-1 over Australia on October 17, has made a full recovery and is ready for selection.

“He’s back and training well, ready to contribute to the team.”

Despite his regained form, Pulisic will not participate in the U.S. Men’s National Team’s upcoming friendlies against Paraguay on November 15 and Uruguay on November 18. Coach Mauricio Pochettino decided to exclude him from the roster to ensure he can achieve complete recovery before taking to the field again.

Impact on AC Milan’s Season

This return is particularly beneficial for AC Milan, where the 27-year-old has been performing impressively this season, netting six goals in just eight outings across all competitions. Allegri’s squad is currently positioned third in Serie A, trailing reigning champions Napoli by only one point, creating a highly competitive atmosphere within the team.

“We need to maintain focus and composure, even when facing unforeseen challenges.”

Allegri stated, highlighting his commitment to the club’s aim of Champions League qualification. He also noted that further reinforcements would follow, as both Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez and French midfielder Adrien Rabiot are expected to recover from their injuries post the November international break. Allegri, who assumed the coaching role this summer, remains confident in his team’s potential as they work towards their seasonal goals.
