AC Milan Unveils Minimalistic Away Kit Featuring Nostalgic Crest

AC Milan Launches New Away Kit

In celebration of their longstanding heritage, AC Milan has launched a fresh away kit for the upcoming season, aligning it with the design philosophy seen in their home kit for 2025-26. This year, the club pays homage to their beloved mascot, the ‘little devil’, which has been a recurring symbol on their apparel for over a century.

Design Features

Staying true to the tradition of away jerseys, the kit features a predominantly white color scheme. However, this iteration opts for a minimalist approach, including simple red and black accents to create a contrast against the white background.

Vintage Emblem Return

Distinguishing itself from previous kits, the most prominent feature is the return of the vintage “Diavoletto” club emblem. This nostalgic logo hasn’t graced the AC Milan jersey since the early 1980s, a time famously marked by the club’s unfortunate relegation to Serie B due to a match-fixing scandal. Its reappearance is quite controversial given the somber history attached to that period.

Public Reveal and Reception

The highly-anticipated kit was revealed to the public with the help of USMNT star Christian Pulisic, who showcased the design in a post shared by PUMA Football.

The club aims to integrate the rich tapestry of its history and culture into this new look. Nevertheless, some critics liken the design to a lackluster training shirt from the early 2000s, raising questions about its aesthetic appeal. Compared to last season’s elegantly designed away jersey with its sophisticated polo collar, many fans may perceive this new release as a step back in their attire.
